Workshop Location :
Victoria Park Centre for the Arts, Studio Room
12 Kent St, East Victoria park, Western Australia
All the Eucalypt Homewares classes are designed for people who have limited or no clay experience, so if you have always wanted to have a go at creating with your hands, or would love to spend a few hours focused and forgetting the world, then these classes are perfect for you.
Each workshop is based around a specific theme or project. This allows students to enrol into classes making the projects they wish to undertake. The classes follow a step-by-step procedure, perfect for beginners or people who haven’t played with clay for a long time.
The classes are very social and set in the Vic Park Centre for the Arts, Studio Room. They are especially fun to do with a small group of friends or family members (husbands and wives, mothers and sons, sisters, daughters and mum, girlfriends). The studio holds 12 students, which allows for greater one-on-one time with the teacher.
Melanie from Eucalypt Homewares has 20 years of ceramic experience, working and teaching in her pottery studio. A degree in Primary Education and Early Childhood teaching and an Advanced Diploma in Studio Ceramics, Melanie has facilitated primary school artist in residence projects, run PD for teachers and taught students of all ages from Pre - school through to seniors.
